Did you buy this model and a ArgTek? In your other posts you say you bought a ArgTek. This discussion is not about the ArgTek.

Standard specs say it flies to 800m. This antenna claims to increase that to 1000m. This is 200m or about 550 feet. Worth it?

I finally received my argtek today! I have never used a soldering iron before and am hesitant to mod. But I guess you have to start somewhere.

Why wrong thread for argtek? This thread is about antenna mods.

Regarding the soldering , am I mistaken, I thought you at least had to solder the connections of the argtek to whatever connection in the RC.

    Still new to this.

no solder needed but you will want to use either some silicone or hot glue gun and this is just so the wiring connectors stay held in place on the contact prongs. I think I am going to try the Argtec.
