We do it all the time, what is the question, why do you think you need WiFi?

You Don't need wi- fi to fly ur drone start up your controller start up your drone and your iPad if you have one open the app wait a few minutes and you will see that you picked up 8 to 12 satellites and you're good

What I'm saying is when you start up your controller and then your drone you will see a picture from your camera coming up on your iPad or cell phone and this is how you know you're connected
