I flipped mine over the first time i tried to manual land. Landing was perfect, but then when i went to shut down it went all wrong. Not a pleasant experience.
The next time I just held the stick down to see what would happen and it worked.
I will admit I didn't read the "mode 1" section of the manual, because that's not the controller configuration that I use.
