Lost control but no crash!

Was flying my vision last night when I clipped the top of a tree...lost control and fell about 75 feet, doing at least 3 flips coming down. Having only flown my Phantom a dozen or so times, I panicked and watched in horror as she came tumbling to earth, thinking of the damage I was expecting. Then, I remembered when you reach panic mode...let go of the sticks!! Sure enough my Phantom leveled out about 5 feet from the ground and just hovered. I consider myself very lucky as I am sure that this is probably not the way it should have turned out. The Phamtom gods were with me last night. Love the Phantom.

Now had that been me, and it was on video, it would have been tempting to post it and tell everyone how easy it was to learn trick flying. ;>)

Seems like the best videos are the ones you forgot to hit the record button on. Did it the other day when 3 sand hill cranes flew right by my Phantom....looked down at my phone and noticed I wasn't recording.
