Lame Question alert

OK, So I got it today. Fly tomorrow. WHAT are the two 1/2 inch by 2 inch nylon like pieces of material w(which I think have a adhesive backing )that were contained in the parts bag for?? Driving me nuts. Cant figure it out!!

Funny. I was wondering the same thing. I've been flying for awhile (a month or so) and never used them. I wouldn't worry about it.

They are spare wraps to replace those that are on your landing gear.

Dint think so. Got four rubber bumpers for that. These are nylon

See the photo above. There are nylon wraps about 1/3 down from the top of the landing gear legs.

He meant the tape that hold the wires running down the legs, you can see them in the pic

Oh right see it and another thing. I noticed that there is a exposed wire (pin) thats maybe a compass lead? or perhaps a GPS lead? Does that get tucked into the leg or leave it exposed?

It's the receiver antenna. It just hangs there -- kept in place by the fabric tape.

Are they not spare landing leg feet?
