Is there a difference? V1.2???

I just bought a second Phantom at the lower price and comparing the two, the newer one has a similar serial number as the first but after the serial number it says v1.2??? Any ideas what that would be?

Just a guess but 1.2 is most likely the new board with integrated pmu v2. Maybe also the new self tightening props and spring throttle.

Hmm... That sounds cool! Actually the props adjusters are 2 black 2 silver ? So that's different.... That means that the second one might be a slightly better version?

These are the newest props for the phantom, not sure if they are v1.2 or for Phantom v2. There were reports of Phantoms coming with regular props and nuts but with a CW and CCW thread which but most recently DJI announced these new motors for the phantom vision and v2 so maybe in v1.2 also.

I got mine yesterday.
Does not have the new props.
Has prop black nuts for left hand thread shafts, silver for right.

Throttle springs back to center when you let go of it.


Have no experience with earlier versions.
Upgraded to V4 firmware.

Have flown 2 battery's seems to work very well.

Going out again this am to take some pictures with it.
