Assuming you mean iPad Air 2 since there's no such thing as an iPod Air 2. Yes, it will work with the Phantom 2 Vision +.

You will need to get a tablet holder/mount to hold it on the controller.

You know... there SHOULD be an iPod Air 2! Totally makes sense. Apple only makes one device - just in different sizes. They add a keyboard and take out the cell chip and call it a Mac Book. Take off the keyboard, shrink it down and call it an iPod. Make it bigger and call it an iPad. Anything to scam you out of a few more bucks I guess.

Using the Air 2 was a massive upgrade from using the iphone 6. Highly recommended!

    You've sold me!
Did you buy wi-fi + cellular or wi-fi only?
    Thanks...

I got the Wi-Fi only 128gb. Although, if you're looking to get P3 in the future, you'd might want to get the cellular version, as it has got GPS built in.
