iOSD Distance icon blinking

Reviewing a DVR recording of an iOSD mini on a Phantom 2, I noticed the "D" distance icon started blinking at 50 meters and more and stopped blinking at less than 50 meters. I have my distance and height limits set at 300 feet in the Assistant Software.

Why is the "D" blinking?

Is this explained in a manual somewhere?

Found it....
It's one of the user set parameters in the iOSD mini Assistant Software.

Forgive the interruption, we'll return to our regularly scheduled programming...

Height is adjustable too. I've now set height and distance to be just a tad bit shorter/lower than the flight limits. So if I'm paying attention, I'll see the blinking icons before I hit "the wall" or "the ceiling".

I believe there is a compass icon that shows up if there is a compass error too.
