Yeah, there was an earlier article posted here last month. As you can imagine, they had all kinds of requirements for VOs and communications during the flights. Probably didn't hurt that it was in support of an airport construction project so probably had the support of airport management. I would really like to see the paperwork that they submitted for that authorization! Be some bragging rights for the pilots who had those flights on their resume.
