Increasing Vertical Gain

Has anyone felt the need to increase their vertical gain? Since my Phantom isn't holding it's altitude all the time without me adding throttle, i figure maybe the gain needs to be adjusted a bit..

P2 or P1? On phantom2 220 vertical gain works fine.

Sorry I didn't mention since this was a Vision+ thread.. but it is the Phantom 2 Vision+ using the prop guards...

Vision+ is a p2, 220 in vertical gain should work fine.
