I just did my IMU calibration and the Mod on the compass while I am inside the house is saying 1120-1140. Is that bad? I read that it should be around 1400-1600. Is it low because I am inside the house? Im concerned because I am about to take her out for a project.

All my firmware is up to date.

Thanks for your fast responses!

Thanks. Will do so. This was my first time doing the IMU calibration since I have gotten the P3P months ago so I was a little nervous when I saw that low number.

For clarification, the IMU has nothing to do w/ the compass. That's why you calibrate both separately.

IMU -- aircraft calibration --indoor on flat surface
Compass -- compass calibration-- outdoor in your arms spinning around like a dradle

As mentioned above, before you calibrate anything, take a moment to understand what it is you're calibrating.

How do you spin around the craft's own axis accurately outside? I would argue that a larger rotation (around you) is not only more accurate, but would provide better readings of the surroundings as well
