Does anyone know what this new firmware (v1.1.8) update fixes? My P3 is flying perfectly without any issues whatsoever. Just curious if it's necessary? I sometimes like to wait it out a few days in case there are any bugs to work out when firmware is first released. Any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated

There's really no reason to update right away. The FW usually has bugs anyways.
Ignore updated until they say exactly what the FW does and some people have done testing.
