I seem to remember that you can... IF you add additional hardware into the guts of your craft... you'll have to do a search through the forum if nobody comes up with the correct part I'm referring to. Sorry i can't be of more help.‎

thank you so much for taking the time to respond. i have look at the dji ground station and the hardware to take to make it happen ,am just getting started in this field of drones i lost one craft to the i dont know where it is. i just got the same unit i had the last time about a week ago the phantom fc40.this time i want to know the location of the craft at all times.if someone is walking down the street with my craft i want to know the location.so now i want to invest in the hardware to get it done just want to spend my on money wisely.just to know it can be done to the phantom fc40 is very helpful thank you so much !!
