Got new (second hand) remote for p3a how do i bind without app

Hi all need help with binding a new remote its second hand, it works as i have seen it used. anyway i can't connect to app with either remote. How can i bind new remote please thnx

Thnx all did that now i have anmber lights flashing indicating lost signal and cant engage motors
