Gopro locks up

My gopro started locking up since it has gotten warm. If it gets above 75 or 80 degrees it will lock up until I cool it down then it works perfect. Today it came on and was working as I waited for the p2 to get sat lock when I went to turn it on to film it had locked up. I flew anyway a short flight and when I landed it was warm to the touch so took the battery out and put back in and it would not even turn on until I took it home and cooled it off. Gopro hero3 two years old and have tried 3 diff batters. Can I send it some place to get it fixed or do I have to pack it in ice before I fly then have it lock up in flight......Dave

Agreed, even with the latest software many lockups are attributable to folks recording at a higher rate (4K, 2.7K, Protune) than the speed of their SD card.
