Gimbal for Mountain Biking?

So if I buy this Gimbal, can I use it for light and easy mountain biking,hiking,walking with my Go Pro around town... How would I hook up battery? Same as with my Phantom Vision 2 plus V3?

I wouldn't mount it on my bike (even for "light" biking). The bike absorbs / transfers some strong forces....
