FW on SD card for batteries?

I have several batteries for my P3P. I have heard it recommended in the past but have not seen any documentation: Do I need to keep the bin file for FW 1.05.0030 on the micro SD card until I have run the bird with all my batteries? Doing so is supposed to "update" the batteries too?

That's correct. The DJI GO app will display a message if your battery needs updated too.
