Just finished making this Transmitter / Monitor Holder. I made it out of 1/4" Acrlyic from Lowes. I heated it with a heatgun and used a board clamped to my workbench as the straight edge. After heating I bent it by hand you have a little time after heating to adjust the bend then hold till it cools a little. Pleased with how it turned out. The monitor is a Lilliput 664 7" with built in Fatshark 5.8 receiver. Next is to drill couple holes next to the timer for a neck strap.

One thing I dont like much in this setup is having your antenna infront of the screen, this is bound to lose some radio range as the signal needs to travel through the screen at all times pretty much how you have it. With 2.4g radio you want to do your best to maintain direct los for best range and so putting a screen between the antenna's isnt an ideal solution.

Good Point. Don't think it would block signal much but would work better with ant behind monitor.

I have noticed a gopro or gimbal getting into los has a pretty drastic effect on my fpv signal amd also effects the radio quite a bit, nit sure how much effect the monitor will have as it all depends on the materials and any electrical interferance caused by the electronics inside.
