Hello, sorry to jump in on this post and please do tell me to start a new one if you want. I've just got a phantom 3 advanced and was updating it. The bird updated fine but can't get the controller to update no matter what I do. Tried the plug into the bird, plug card into controller, update through app etc. Nothing works.. at the point of sending it back but thought i'd ask invade there was a known issue with controller not updating. Been on with it for hours and still no further forwards. Installed and uninstalled the app a few times but still no luck. Any ideas appreciated.

now controller is version 1.6.0 didn't know I could upgrade firmware over the web... Thanks!

Keeps saying disconnected on the app too. Just incase that has anything to do with it.

I'm using ipad mini 2. I updated the DJI go app, and rebooted, and fired up copter and controller.It then said firmware update needed for controller, It updated over the web...
