It probably finished installing already. Try restarting everything and then check the firmware version in the "General Settings" --> "About" section of DJI GO.
At 99%, mine updated something quickly, might have been battery. But, whatever it was, could be that did not complete.
I agree, restart, see what it says.
Mine did that. I just closed the app, powered down the bird, restarted it and everything loaded up and said things were up to date. It appears the progress bar stopping is a glitch and not indicative that the drone didn't update.
I just updated my new P4P as forced to do. It came up with a message at 99% complete: 'Unplug and re-plug data cable to update status'. What I think they wanted to say was : Unplug data cable from quad, and replug into controller'. I did that and the status on my iPad said, Update Complete.
