Extended warranty

I got an offer today for a 4 year extended warranty for me "Camera/Camcorder" which covers accidental damage.

Has anyone ever purchased this warranty? I am suspicious that it would not really cover my FC40.

No but I did convince my insurance agent to insure mine. All he wanted was proof of purchase with the sale amount. Most insurance agents wont touch this type of policy so shop around. I made sure it was for loss(flyaway) / damage(crashes) / theft.
