Drones to Fly at Superbowl Halftime Show

Got a link for that? Every report that I have seen mentioned that Intel had received special 107 waivers from the FAA for the airspace around NRG stadium. Like this one.
Yes, it was filmed earlier, because a waiver for swarm is easier than a waiver for ops over people.

I wouldn't cross the street to see lady GagMe. Be careful, she might blow up the stadium.

Even in the middle of a no-fly-zone, the FAA limited the ceiling of the Intel drones to 200 feet above the top of the stadium.

Why?

Don't know unless it was close to an airport or maybe some random flyaway was expected. More odd is their waiver had the need for two pilots although one could run the show from the computer. Guess they figured one guy would have a heart attack if one got away or something so they needed a pilot backup.

The waiver CNN has for flying over people's heads is some tethered drone on a leash (Fotokite Pro: The Fotokite Pro: Unlimited flight time and 1080p aerial live stream ) also mentioned in their waiver. They cannot fly it higher than 21 feet over peoples heads either. Big deal.

Yes, second operator needed if first unable complete the flight. (Poorly timed potty break or such) !!
