Does P3/4k Camera lens have a removable protective filter?

Yes, you can unscrew the filter from a P34K camera. Same as P3P and P3A.

I have been told that the P3 Standard does not have that feature. Is that correct?

That's correct. You can only use filters that slide onto the camera with the P3S.

as a side note the slide on filters that fit the standard will also slide onto the 4K so you don't have to unscrew the factory lens cover. I like to keet that in place so no dust gets on the camera lens
