Why does it keep coming up with unable to join network?
Any help appreciated.

Incorrect password or no network available to log in.

The phantom randomly pops up on the phone screen. And goes straight to an unable to join window. It doesn't give me an option to type in the password.

I don't know what phone you are using, but there should be a way to "forget" the phantom network, then start again.

when you see the Phantom network in the list, click the i icon to the right and forget the network
