Is there a way to disable return to home? I am going to be flying around some trees, and if I loose signal I'd rather have it land where it is versus shooting up 20 meters straight into the tree tops.

    Thanks

Yup. You can select that in the software...found in the dreaded manual that nobody reads...

I wasn't able to locate it in the PHANTOM 2 VISION+ USER MANUAL (EN) V1.1.5. I'm assuming it would be listed in Section 4: Failsafe Function, but all that describes is what the failsafe is and how to regain control.

Are you referring to documentation on the software itself? If so, I wasn't able to locate this documentation, other than the online link provided, http://wiki.dji.com/en/index.php/Main_Page, which seems to not be what I need. I'll poke around the software later to see if I can locate the settings.

It's right in your assistant. Just click on the tab and you check what you want either go home and land or land.
