P3 Firmware Crazy beeping. Help asap

I started updating the fw.
Put it on formatted SD card.
It did start the update. Green and red. It took over 10 minutes. And after it started something like this.
Its still doing it now.

Is this normal? Its still going on.

i turned it off. obviously something was wrong with the update. TXT says update failed.
what should i do now?

Mine started beeping when it got to 40% and kept doing until it was done. I literally just finished my FW update....took 18min...after it was done it beeped until I restarted the Phantom now it's good. I have the P3S but I assume they are all similar when it comes to FW updates

I reformatted the SD card
Copied firmware (redownloaded)
Put it in the drone.
And look what it does now

The first FW update I did failed awhile back. After reloading it it sounded like a very loud alarm clock for 22min. I set it in garage and walked away. Was fine after. Are trying to update it again with it beeping loud???. If so just let it sound off for 15-20min

Very loud. it's night here. I can't do it now. Will have to try tomorrow.

So tomorrow, should i insert SD card with firmware in the drone and wait for beeps to go away or without sd card?

Reformat card. Load update on card. put card in and start update. Let it beep for 15-20 it will stop. Let me know how you make out

Maybe i should try putting 1.7 fw update on the card?

I'm sure all will work out. If the new one fails again it would be worth a shot to try the 1.7

I think i got it fixed.
Turned it on. With sd card in it. With freshly copied FW 1.8 on it.
Turned it on and left it like that.
It was loud alarming for 6 minutes after which stopped and did an upgrade of FW like usuall and it took it 2-3mins after.

So i think everything is correct now? Check the screnshot

Updated my Phantom Standard yesterday, and at 53% it started beeping and the gimbal/camera started going bonkers. Was a bit worried and ALMOST shut it down. But after about 10 minutes of watching it go nuts it finally got past the 53% and only beeped and buzzed for the next 8 minutes or so. Finally updated successfully and all is well. Maybe dji should include a disclaimer or notice about what might happen during the update.........AND......what to do if it fails. Just a suggestion dji. Also, thanks to all you fellow pilots for your info on this problem. Good Luck !!
