Can you replace the P4P+ controller with a P4P controller?

I may eventually want to run Litchi for my P4P+, but unfortunately that's not currently possible, with no stated plans to change this state of affairs. Is it possible to buy a P4P controller and bind it to my Phantom?

Yes, both the P4P and P4P+ remote controllers will work with any P4P/P4P+ since the Phantom is the same.

Yes, since the P4P+ is simply the built in display, and the AC is exactly the same, simply bind the GL300F to the bird instead of the GL300E.

According to the experts on this forum, no controller will bind to the P4P except the P4P and P4P+ controllers (GL300F and GL300E respectively).

Litchi. Just looked it up. Newb to the P4P but is the only thing it adds waypoints and VR?

You can do autopilot controlled maneuvers for tighter cinematic shots, which is the application I'm interested in. It also allows you to do flights beyond your control range, and more easily set up mapping and volumetric analysis missions.
