Hi all, I am new and just ordered a Phantom. I had a AR Drone and I sent it back, I did not like it and it is not a very good unit.

I like flying my Phantom but I find studying about it, viewing videos, learning new tech stuff & modifications even more fun. For every hour of actual flying I have about 20 hours of thinking about how to fly it better & safer.

Welcome! You'll probably be happier if you:

1) Read the Phantom manuals and watch the videos (online at DJI.com under Support - Phantom)

2) Develop good safety habits early - you're in charge!

3) Consider investing in an extra battery or two from the start.

4) Have fun!
