...so I've charged one of my five p4 batteries around 50 times in just over a year (DJI told me they should be good for around 200 charges, but warranty is only good for six months) and now the battery is suddenly not being recognized as an official DJI battery and is now a doorstop/brick/useless item.

...kinda feeling like I got ripped off for $120.

...anyone have a magical method to make the battery identify as an official DJI battery again? - thanks!

Have you inspected the terminals for damage?

It could be a data comm. issue.

...alas, everything seems fine - exterior bits look a-ok - telemetry data on battery from go4 shows everything a-ok - I'm no programmer, but it's like some software glitch triggered a fault in whatever protocol tells it "I am a DJI battery" and now it thinks it's a cheap knockoff no-name battery...grrrrrrrrrr.
