Had a bad flight a couple of weeks ago. The short story is that in the end, after washing in chest high water in a river my wife found the copter and was very happy to so do. Then as she held it in the air it started smoking.

As you can see, a chip is burned and done for, so I'll need to replace the board. Looks like fun. I'll also get a new battery since I'm sure this one is toast.

The question is, does anyone know what I can use to safely clean the smoke off the body?

I would think a light bleach / water solution should help, but if you really can't get the smoke out, I've seen people take their bird apart and spray paint it.. or they sell these rubber sleeves that may mask the discoloration on the shell.
