android pilot app loss of settings

So I am using a samsung tab 4 running kit kat 4.4.2 and the downloaded pilot app from dji. v 1.1.0
My settings for max alt, continuous store, multi flt, enable IOC, failsafe alt, battery warn, etc. are gone after closing the app.
Why can't pilot app / RC / drone remember them. WASTE of time setting them up EVERY time I want to fly. Plus, I have to
have the tablet connected to the RC and it turned on to do anything. They need to rework this system !

It does remember your settings. You have to have the bird on and connected in order for them to save.

What are you trying to do in the app that you're missing when the bird is off?
