Just bought my Phantom 3 and love it. Some great info on here.

I am currently using an android HTC but have just ordered an Ipad Mini 2.

Can the P3S be operated with either...i.e tomorrow on Ipad but next time with my android phone?

Yes, you can use it both. Not the same time.

No. Firmware is only install on the Phantom, RC, and batteries.
