Just watched a video on youtube showing DJI GO 1080p 60fps allowed to be selected on the standard...

Is this for the standard or is it only for the inspire, p3 pro or something? - nothing was mentioned in the update notes.. Which makes me think it's not for the standard.

How come 60fps was not listed in the note files in the latest update?

I've not updated to the latest firmware or latest go app yet - is it worth updating? As I don't want to ruin stability of the craft.

**********EDIT It looks like it's official, see the videos I found below.

Still confused about no update note on the app to let us know?

60fps is a NICE update IMO...

I hadn't heard that but as much as I didn't want to update I may due to the published improvements on cold weather flying as I am in the Northeast next door to the Great White North.

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Phantom Pilots forum. I hope that you will take advantage of the benefits that come with membership and that you will be able to use the forum for the exchange of innovative ideas and as a resource for current developments in Phantom quadcopter’s. Here is a great link - Know Before You Fly

His question was regarding the Standard, not the P/A.

I see you edited your post, those are the past specs. ;)

So they have effectively made the Standard the same video quality as the Advanced... nice.

That's a really nice update if the Standard camera actually shoots in 60fps!

Still can't work out why DJI haven't mentioned this in the update notes...I wonder if they forgot SOMEHOW?

Strange one!

Thanks for your input on the thread.

Here is a few videos I found (not my videos)

And shown here on the latest app:

I noticed the update to 60fps on 1080p when I updated the DJI Go app.

I am using the latest Android version of the DJI Go app, 2.4.3, but I do not have the 1080p/60fps option, just the 30fps. Is it that the Android version is lagging behind the iOS version? Noticed the youtube videos were with the IPhone platform and not the Nexus 7 (2013) Android platform. Anyone using the Android version of the DJI app with the 1080/60 video option?

It confirms the camera can do it. Whether or not if its intended is another question. I'll be installing my update and keeping the app offline after that. Heh. -Joe

I'm in the same boat. DJI GO 2.4.3 on Android, and no 60fps

Man, I wish I had seen this earlier -I won't be able to check until this afternoon. I really hope this isn't something that was an accident and DJI plans to undue it. Was anyone with an android phone able to get it working?

Got a response from DJI this morning. The Phantom 3 Standard does not have the option of 1080 / 60, only 30fps with the latest update. Let me know what version of the Android app you are running and how you are able to get the 60fps. I am on NTSC and still do not have the option. Running Android 2.4.3

I'd venture to say its unintended but may be left as is. They can get sued for undoing it now.
