This guy was hovering around the rooftops of the subdivision i'm working in. When I first spotted him he cruised over the roof of the house I was working on, he was so close to me I about jumped off the scaffolding!I still don't know what he was up to I've never seen a helicopter flying that low with a helipad not for at least 5 miles from here! I just imagined he was looking for is cheating wife's car in someone's driveway it is going to crash it into the roof on purpose. I watch too many movies I guess

The power company sometimes use them to check lines here - flying very low indeed rather like that.
It surprises me they don't say in advance as it could be pretty disastrous if anyone were caught on a horse near it for example.

In pilots terms that is a "near miss" with a drone in which you needed to take action to prevent a collision.

If I had my drone in the air I would have totally yielded to the pilot. However, I would have hit record immediately and captured some great footage being eye to eye with a helicopter.
