No matter how many hundreds of times we've posted here to not do a CSC on the ground to stop the motors, DJI unfortunately still lists that as an option in the manual. If they would just remove that as an option in the manual, it would have saved so many pilots already and more in the future. For sure use CSC in an emergency to stop the motors when either on the ground or in the air, but not for a routine shut down when landed or caught.
There are countless "I'm new, what are some tips?" threads that all say only left stick down once landed, but we will still see the same continuous flow of "it tipped over!" threads as long as the manual is not updated in that area.
Side note - I also wouldn't mind if they finally noted in the manual that left stick down will not stop your motors while still descending.
