Sorry for creating another thread about this but..

1. I really wanna get to the bottom of this and find a fix for all of us
2. I want this thread to stay on subject
3. I had a thought , and possibly need someone to test my theory

So, the warning message at hand is ( if you didn't already know lol)

"WARNING. STRONG INTERFERENCE DETECTED. BE CAREFULL WHEN FLYING LONG DISTANCES"

Now 1st thing is I believe this affects mostly IOS users, But I would like any android users to comment below if they are being affected. By being affected I mean constant messages throughout most flight's and throughout the entirety of the flight.

Second I have a theory to test but I cant test it myself because I don't have a second phone or device and I cant borrow one so,

my test is someone who is using a IOS device to fly with, and also experiencing these messages, could you find a way to fly your phantom with a Android device in the same locations to see if you still get the constant messages.

UPDATE:::

Just contacted a drone repair specialist in the U.K, the drone doctor and they said that the warning is created when the phantom detects electromagnetic interference caused by wi-fi, power lines, both above and below the ground, radio towers etc,

he said there is no known fix and that for the most part he said I shouldn't worry about it, however if the interference gets too bad the the failsafe wil be activated, (rth I guess) which is kinda good.

So I think ill carry on flying, just keeping an eye on it. Maybe some phantoms are more sensitive than others, which could actually be a good thing..

I got the message again yesterday. I shut everything off, restarted and it went away. Flew 2 battery packs with no troubles.

question dude..

iphone?

When you restarted, did you only restart phantom,? Or controller an app also?

I'm not sure how much help I can be since mine stopped, but I'm watching the thread... just in case.

And I'll still try to test with an Android, when I get a chance.

I am an IOS user and the only time I get that warning is when I'm in my house or under my carport. I use an iPhone 7 plus or an iPad 2 mini cell/wifi.

I have both iOS and a android. Get the message all the time on iOS. It tried android yet but will do at the weekend to test the theory

Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots

I'm going to Florida next week! This weather really sucks here !! Looking forward to geting some great beach and sunset phantom shots in the Keys! Hopefully my messages won't drive me nuts!

The KEYS??? My dream destination, by motorcycle... I always have it in the back of my mind how I'm gonna carry it on the back of the bike!
