Yep
What's the difference in the MKII versions?
Skinnier and a little noisy. Still work, though - just that the MKII are the recommended ones.
Also-is this the setup you flew here(lake havasu)?
Nope. Was using a P2. The main problem with an 800 (to me) is transporting it. If I fly, I take a GoProfessional case and the P2
OT: I've discovered this whole area is flooded with "air-wave" band RF stuff.....so, next Feb, bring a VTX that's non-airwave band(like 5705ghz works best out there....was at the same spot as you-and got well over 1000M not problems. Tried AW band-got 100M).
Interesting. I sure got lousy reception. Will do that.
Which 6S 10K batteries are you using? And-since XT-60 is only good for ? don't remember voltage-which connectors do you use?
I think with 6S10K and 15"...my flight times should be well into the 15 minute range, at 3000+ grams...I can even put the retracts back on!!
I am using Pulse batteries on the 800. Expensive but pretty good. I also have a GensAce 5000 mah which works fine, too, Lighter and gets less flight time but still very usable.
I use XT-60. One could argue that it is under the needed max specs but the reality is that the constant draw (not the peak) is well under the maximum. They don't heat up at all.
