$250~3DPOWER Brushless Gimbal Mount DJI Phantom 2 Vision

Some one told me that every gram more is one second shorter flying..

Well, since the gimbal isn't dead weight, but consumes power as well, that must be a rule of thumb at best :) a 3-axis gimbal that weighs the same as the 2-axis RotorPixel would consume more power (one extra motor) therefore resulting in lower flight time? Sluggish gain values on the P2V would mean the gimbal must work harder to stabilize, therefore consuming more power?

Yes, I posted that link in the MotorPixie section on saturday. I contacted Marcus who drew the thing, and you can download the source files from his homepage http://www.stoeckli.net

Seems to be a very nice guy, he might update the design to include a better IMU holder and move the controller to the back, so keep following his designs :)

I guess you could download the according STL file and have shapeways.com print it for you?

I'm back in business again as I just received the new 3D parts for my broken Taco gimbal!

It looks like some changes have been made tot he camera holder as it does hold the camera way better than before!
(it is now holding the camera without the Velcro strap)

Will report back when it's up and running again.

Interesting build - I have a bit of uncertainty as to the necessary additional components.
Is this the correct configuration/socket for the P2V 4-conductor camera cable?
What controller? IMU? TIA

Or, you can have 'Shapeways' print the design above.... just download files, then submit to shapeways :)

Hi Noel, or some of you all,

can you please post me also, how you set up your gimbal in detail? The parameters you have set in the GUI, please?

Greetings Walter from Austria

Hello, i've assitited all forum...and i have a phantom 2 vision too... today i sent a email to taco and they said that the gimball works now with phantom batery and is plug n play...do you confirm? i need...a GIMBAL...just like everyone P2V owner....

Dear all 3DPower Gimbal owners,

I just try to setup the old/existing version of 3DPower Gimbal but the Roll trembles/shakes a lot when I try to move to
side by side limits.

Could I reduce the shaking by adjusting SimpleBGC GUI ? but I could not find a valid download of
GUI2.2b2.

Even the link given by Tacotoy does not work.

Any one has a link to down this GUI v2.2b ?

The SimpleBGC is made by BaseCam Electronics.
