No I did not upgrade the firmware.

Not sure if I will.. It's working fine as is.

can you please post how you set up your gimbal in detail? The parameters you have set in the GUI, please?

also, does anybody know what the reset button does?

Reset behavior can be set in the GUI. Default for one short press is calibrate acc. I believe, press and hold is reset.

can you please share your GUI settings?

My 3Dpower for P2V work fine.
Its a 2.2b2 version software.
Tilt control work too with 7ch.
Stabiliztion is quite good !
i connected power into p2v with a security fuse.
result is good, but there is one problem left : the jello stabilizer.
The original anti-jello-balls are too soft.
Then all drone vibrate.
Has to add zip-tie to make balls harder.
Maybye too hard now, cause i have no more drone vibration, but jello is back...
Any one has an advice to make an adjustable soft/hard anti-jello-balls ?

It doesn't help that the dampers on the p2v are not being used in compression. It's better if the cam is held from the top plate, and the airframe to the bottom plate so the dampers are compressed.

Some advice for every 3Dpower users :
-first is to SAVE PROFILE when you receive !
-when gimbal seems to bee crazy, its a setting loose ! press "use defaults". reboot. reload saved profile. reboot. recalibrate ACC/GIRO. it work again fine !
-put a FUSE to power to not fire (or crash) your p2v in case of problem.

So, if I understand it all ...

DroneXpert has jello issues - with delayed delivery times,

RotorPixel is slow to ship - with delayed delivery times,

This gimbal requires an external battery or soldering something, but delivers quick,

Another gimbal requires you to hacksaw your FC200,

And DJI says they will have one for the Vision "soon" ...

I guess I'll be waiting a while for a real, plug-n-play gimbal with a reasonable/regular delivery schedule.

*le sigh*

tried again today and I cant even get this gimbal to power on now..not sure what the issue is. :(

You just gave me an awesome idea for a 3D printed mod. Thank you very much!

I'm going to make a bet that DJI will not create a gimbal for the Phantom 2 Vision but will, instead, integrate one into the upcoming Phantom Vision Plus.
