1.19 original firmware and buying a new battery

Hi to all,
I have 1.19 original firmware on my phantom 3 my question is, if I buy a new battery can I just pop it in with the original SD card in the Phantom, and will It update the battery to1.19 firmware?

You'll need to put the BIN for the firmware version you want to install on the root of your memory card. If the BIN is already there, then you're all set. Then, just start up your Phantom with the new battery installed. The firmware will be installed if it's newer than what is installed on your battery.

Thanks msinger, that's what I was hoping to hear I did one battery 6 months ago and it worked fine just wondering if anything changed obviously it hasn't thanks again for your reply
