    Struggle with Osmo+ indoors

Phil - Thank you for the feedback! When I first arrived I explained that I would like to have lights, fans, tvs, fireplaces, anything that moves, turned on for videoing. Well, they turned everything on before I started the pictures and I was so caught up in the shoot that I did not realize...

    Struggle with Osmo+ indoors

After the shoot with the Osmo, I decided to invest in something to handle the lower light. I'm still struggling with the vertical movements from walking but this is only my 2nd handheld shoot. I need to spend more time practicing. Anyway, what are your thoughts on this video? Keep in mind...

    Struggle with Osmo+ indoors

Thanks for the feedback guys. I agree, I really need to work on smooth horizontal movement. I've tried the z-axis stabilizer but haven't had much luck with that either. I have noticed an improvement from doing what PD said by really focusing on keeping knees bent and absorbing vertical...

    Struggle with Osmo+ indoors

I've been shooting aerial exteriors for a local realtor and wanted to try my hand at indoor video. I shot the exterior paid but offered to do the interior free to see if there was any interest and get some practice at the same time. I've done a few test in my own home and haven't had much...

    Jitter while panning only

I tried 4k at 30fps, same deal but worse.

    Jitter while panning only

Yes it does look like that! I'll take a closer look at the gimbal. What's strange though is the jitter only happens when panning across the bright side of the home. When filming the shaded side, the video is perfectly smooth.

    Jitter while panning only

I ran into an issue last weekend. Any time I pan my drone, specifically during a POI shot, in a very bright environemnt, the video stutters as if frames are jumping back and fourth a frame or two. This is evident on my SD straight off the card in windows media player, VLC, and Premier Pro prior...

    Laughed out of the office

Thanks for the replies. My time is worth something. Maybe more than others are willing to pay but that doesn't change anything. I made my pitch to the realty office today. Fingers crossed this turns into something great. Either way, I'll continue building my skills flying and post...

    Laughed out of the office

I recently shot a property for a local agent with a national agency in my area. I discounted the shoot significantly under the premise that I'm getting my work out there and this was fully understood. The realtor was kind enough to show the office the video I shot and next thing I knew I was...

school me on dronebase prep please

Verifly can get pricey if you're planning on flying short missions in multiple areas as the insurance is for a very small specified location as well as time. If you're planning on using it for pano missions around town, you'd be looking at a minumum of $10 per mission if they're outside of the...

    3 Pro wobble issues

That looks like what's called jello. Try ND filters to reduce. Do you know what the FPS and shutter speed were in this video?

    Has anyone used Drone Base?

I noticed this over the weekend. Was on my way to a nearby mission when I pulled up the app and no missions populated. Then this morning, all were back. Strange.

    Commercial Drone Opps Insurance?

Interested in this as well. Even at $10 an hour for 1/4 mile can get pricey pretty quick.
