I have a WRT54G with DDWRT installed. I'd love to extend the GoPro's network so I can get better FPV range with my GoPro. I own the FC40 which operates at 5.4ghz so I wanted to avoid a FPV option that operates on 5.8 (the GoPro is 2.4ghz)
Does anyone have a how-to?
I picked up the GoodLuckBuy gimbal but am somewhat stuck when it comes to figuring out how to mount the FC40 camera to it. Any thought starters or good example how-tos?
It is a class 10 card, but unfortunately I can't even get the camera fully booted up (it does not broadcast an SSID) with the card in it. I've tried this with two different cards.
I am having trouble with the camera recognizing SD cards. Can anyone inform me of the disk format they are supposed to be?
When I boot the camera up I just get a rapidly flashing green light, can't record and no wifi.
The rules listed on the FAA website you are supposed to notify the airport and ATC of plans to fly within 5 miles of the airport, I can't however locate any guidance as it relates to how you are supposed to notify them. I've reached out to my local airport yet received no response.
I've been disappointed with the FC40's camera, so I attempted to figure out how best to mount a small canon point & shoot. Was able to do it for less than $20.

Just got a dc40, love the quad but the camera is a serious let down. I have hyper-portable older point and shoot canon that I'd like to use instead but I've been unable to locate a mount that will accommodate the standard camera screw bottom. Any idea where I could find one?
Thanks!
