I've flown enough of these long flights to know if your distance reaches more than your bat level #, (example, you hit 50,000' at 50% bat level or 45,000 at 45% etc.) you will not make it back unless you're going 36 miles an hour or more on your return.
DB.... you can do it!!!

You'll slowly see you making progress if you can go 36 or faster, slow progress, but enough to assure you that you're going to land with 2% to 10%
That's good, helpful information, when trying to make it back, or prudently ditch it somewhere safe!

It's handhold-able, but you'll still want a lanyard. When I'm hobby flying (which doesn't happen too often) I use the maxxrange, as far as weight goes, it doesn't feel much different than the DBS 02
Good to know, for planning purposes. I still want to be able to carry it on a tray, secured by a lanyard.

Yeah I'm really surprised that those 2000s are giving me about the same flight time as the 5.2 MultiStar. And without all the trouble of having to reduce the voltage down to 4.32 on the LiHV's.
Even though I don't have a flight log, my routine is every time I land an aircraft, before shutting it off, I set it on the ground and check the flight time in the DJI go app. This flight time was 30 1/2 minutes.
Hi, DB
Great flighting time, Did you set 4.32v / Lihv with your Maxamps lipos?

The maxamps are not lihv 15.2v
The maxamps ONLY come in standard 14.8v so no need to hassle with the charging estimates, just charge them the full 4.20 and plug them in and fly[emoji41]

If my bird marcher en crabe in Atti Mode, Can I controlled by RC controller stick?

The wind will blow you off course in atti mode.
If your home points recorded, you can still fly out and Atti mode and have your return to home function work properly

That might've been the craziest exciting flight of ever been on!
I don't usually turn around with my battery level that low what my mileage is that far out, I like to keep it even. But it was very very calm flying into a 2 mile an hour headwind, so I was confident I could make it up with speed on the way back. I really didn't make any headway until I got to about 3 miles from home, then I realized I could probably make it by 1%.

It's very frustrating because my DJI log is not showing up for this flight, I've discussed this issue I've had before, but it doesn't happen every time. I'm starting to wonder if it's a result of starting/stopping/restarting the battery to level out the main battery and the external without shutting the app and controller off. It's scary to think I could've went down in a cornfield and had no way to recover it. But unfortunately you won't know that it's not recording or logging your flight until you land, kind of scary. I would like that one on the leaderboard but if you can't put it there because I don't got the log or HD Report I understand! But I know I made it all the way back and it was freaking awesome, I'll probably be shaking for a couple days on that one

My P4 doesnt seem to like being loaded down as much as my p3's
Some flights the 5.2 multistar is fine, then this flight it gave a few "max motor speed errors" (of course I was going 40 mph on the way back) it can veer off course when giving those errors sometimes. Then I noticed this, don't know which flight it was from but it's probably weight related or hard braking

Cracks around the motor housing. That's never been heard of before on a Phantom! ;) How will you deal with it, since you only have one P4?
