Holy Ba'jezus :!:OI Photography said:Well then you better sit down for this. In the bathroom.
Nothing added to the Taranis but an RP-SMA antenna connector and a 5db-gain hinged rubber duck.
Linear, Omni and unamplified.

So. . . I'm looking at this page: http://boltrc.com/index.php?route=produ ... uct_id=366 and it's labled "FrSky Taranis X9D - Back board with internal XJT".
Pardon my ignorance, but since I do not yet own a Taranis X9D, I do not understand all the Taranis lingo/acronyms/abbreviations. What the heck is a "XJT"? What purpose does it serve? I've Google'd around a bit, and have found numerous resellers pedaling the FrSky XJT 16ch Radio Transmitter (plug-in) Module with descriptions that say: "The latest upgrade to the FrSky Telemetry Radio System now features up to 16 channels and the new Smart Port for duplex communications with X series receivers", but how do you get that same functionality from that internal board? Does it share the same internal transceiver and just spew out (and receive) more channels of encoded data?
The more I read about it, the more confused I get :?
Please explain. . .
Thanks in advance :!:
