Hello pilots. Me here again. So I'll get right to it. I bought a DJI Phantom Advanced + (built in screen on controller) with 3 high capacity batteries... for $650 CAD. Yes, that's correct, $650 CAD. That's $498 USD.
Any way, I bought it to repair and upgrade from my Phantom 4, standard version. The only problem it has is with the gimbal yaw. It makes sort of a grinding sound and It goes left to right from the wind when flying and when you touch it, it sometimes cannot move back to the center position. Then you can just touch it and it will swing, as if the motor is not working. Then you move it back to the center position and it holds. I'll post a video later so this all makes since. I calibrated the gimbal for the heck of it on the off chance it will work. My thoughts are it could need a new gimbal yaw motor, or the motor screws just need sett or something.
