My maiden flight with the new P2V+
Nothing fancy. Slow and easy. Pretty boring actually.

I’m used to flying a smaller quad completely manually so it was pretty easy. I wasn’t really nervous at all.
The only thing that took some getting used to was the centering throttle and trusting the hands off hover.
I had 11-12 satellites the whole time. Got a 3D GPS lock pretty quickly actually.
No problems with control or FPV link but I didn’t go far.
I didn’t even really use the FPV. I’m so used to flying LOS that I forgot to look down at the screen.
Not that I could really see the screen in the sunlight.
Battery life was less than expected. Only 12:45 to 30% battery and low battery warning.
App reported 23% remaining at touchdown and engine shut off at 14:08
Does the battery capacity improve at all after a few charging cycles?
Yes I was wearing the training wheels and I’m hoping that has something to do with the low flight time.
The prop guards will come off after another flight or two.
I didn’t test RTH and don’t know if I will ever test it deliberately.
Update: Second Flight, up to 55 meters, a slow panorama with a spiral descent.
