I know it is probably not ideal. But will it damage phantom 3 to install xStar propellers. Our Best Buy was out of dji and I want to fly it today.

Is it worth the risk?

Lots of folks have had issues with aftermarket props that were claimed to have been made FOR the Phantom. If it's worth it to try props made for a different quadcopter, go for it.

I wouldn't do it. Let us know how it works out.

Some of our P2 flyers may remember the XOXO brand props that looked exactly like DJI props. Even balanced, they would make P2s do weird things.

I think I have a pair, still in the bag. I don't think they're worth the postage, but if anyone wants them let me know.

If Best Buy is out go to Target or Wal-Mart. I wouldn't fly with props that aren't designed for my drone.

I've read that a lot of xstar owners use DJI props which tells me that autel props are no good
