Won't initialize gps no lights flash or anything

Took my phantom to Mexico and when I tried to initialize it nothing happened. I was able to fly it in other modes but gps mode will not work. I have tried everything including taking it apart looking or loose wires and such. When I connect the battery the leds light up, makes the starting beep and that's it. No flashing lights, cannot put it in gps mode.please help.

One way to check is to use usb connect to naza software see if it switch to gps on the software and if not then I would say faulty gps.

can you initiate and go through manual calibration without any problem?

No if I switch gps to atti and back 10 times nothing happens

last question, on the naza assistant on tools tab, and Imu calibration do you see reading, does it move if you move Phantom? if it doesn't it's a faulty compass and that is good news because it's a cheap part.

if it was the gps it would still let you do manual calibration but would fail on the second part.
