What to get !

Having been flying a phantom 3 standard here in the
Uk i have decided to splash some cash on a new drone ,, was looking at the mavic air or the mavic pro to upgrade too ..
My standard uses wifi for video link and even though its old this plays up from time to time and limits my flying
Need more range ..
The air looks great but was worried about the enhanced wifi .. not sure how this performs in the uk
In suburban areas !
Or play safe with the mavic pro , better battery life , and better range ?

Without commenting on your desire for more range with a smaller drone I would say it has to be the Mavic Pro. Otherwise you’ll end up with a Mavic Air and a wish that you’d bough the Mavic Pro.

I fly my Mavic Pro Platinum daily and sometimes for hours on end. I highly suggest it as you won't have to worry about limited range unless you REALLY try to get way out there.
