Being a P2V owner with it set to stock, its range is about 1000ft or so for FPV as for flight control, that remains to be seen, I know the P1 has a range of 1000m so if its distance your are after then the P1 is the way to go, if however your after FPV with the bells and whistles of telemetry data then the P2V is ideal, the Plus version has a better gimbal but going on what the threads are saying there is a risk of motor/ESC failure etc and the gimbal is rather flimsy.
My P2 (non Vision) reaches far over 2km with the stock controller. I didn't take it further yet because my Fatshark FPV cuts out at that range with my current standard antenna's.
P2v+ is 300-500m is pretty typical. I have squeezed 900m out of it way out in a field in the middle of nowhere.
